Founded in 1988 by Cumhur Gökova, Gökova Sailing Academy is Turkey 's most active private sailing school , with over 15,000 graduates . It is a family business . Based in Marmaris , a beautiful city on the Aegean coast , it conducts its sea training in the unique bays of the Southern Aegean.
Our organization, International Sailing Schools, offers a wide range of training covering amateur and professional licenses , from basic sailing lessons to astro-navigation . It was selected as the ' European Education Centre ' of 2015 by the Association .

Sailing Training
At Gökova Sailing Academy, all amateur training takes place by boat. It is valid with 100% real samples. One week Our residential training courses begin at Marmaris Netsel Marina and, in addition to sailing, cover seamanship, boating, and sailing skills during a course week. Life and maritime ethics are experienced as a whole. Those who pass the theoretical and practical exams at the end of the one-week training are recognized as having reached the level they participated in. He/She is entitled to receive his/her license.
In addition to education, we can spend our free time enjoying activities such as swimming, climbing, hiking, and yoga, ensuring a productive and healthy holiday. Our knowledge of healthy living will also increase.
