
As of December 2015, Gökova Sailing Academy, which received Tuyep Accreditation from the Turkish Sailing Federation, holds the YY7 certificate. It is also the only institution in Türkiye that provides YY5 training.
Tuyep training programs and prices are as follows:
YY1 - Fundamentals of Sailing Yachts
Certificate Program : TUYEP
Prerequisites for participation: Completion of primary school and ability to swim.
Training Duration : 6 days (3 x 2 days - 2 x 3 days or 6 days) including accommodation on the boat.
Boat used: 42 ft Sailing Yacht
Course Dates: Weekly, throughout the year.
Who is it for : It's for people interested in sailing and seafaring who have no prior sailing training. Or for those who want to improve their skills by participating in voyages on sailboats or motorboats and take on responsibility on board.
What it Includes : Preparations necessary for setting sail on a yacht, basic maritime concepts and terminology, principles of sailing, basic maneuvers with sails and engine, safety rules and equipment use, introduction to navigation and charting, man-over-the-sea rescue maneuver, ropes and knots, opportunity to experience life at sea, preparation of the service boat.
Participants who successfully complete the training will: possess general knowledge about sailing and yachting; be able to operate the boat during daylight hours in familiar waters and along the coastline under the supervision of an instructor or captain, and follow instructions; and be able to assist in emergency situations. Participants who successfully complete the training will be entitled to receive a TUYEP YY1 certificate.

YY2 - Sailing and Touring Yachting
Certificate Program: TUYEP
Prerequisites for participation: Holding a YY1 certificate. Holding an Amateur Seafarer Certificate.
Training Duration: 6 days (3 x 2 days - 2 x 3 days or 6 days) including accommodation on the boat.
Boat used: 42 ft Sailing Yacht
Course Dates: Weekly, throughout the year.
Who is it for: Those who want to improve their skills in sailing and seamanship and take full responsibility for the boat.
What it covers: Maneuvers under sail, maneuvers under engine, docking maneuvers, anchoring, navigation and pilotage, differences in night navigation, meteorology, engine operating principles and systematic troubleshooting, sailing, voyage planning, rules for preventing collisions at sea, man overboard rescue maneuvers, emergency procedures, use of safety equipment, life on board, cooperation with the crew, ropes, knots and their use, use of the service boat.
Participants who successfully complete the training will be able to: navigate a sailboat from one point to another in familiar waters and along the coastline under daylight, making independent decisions based on weather and navigation conditions. Participants who successfully complete the training will be entitled to receive a TUYEP YY2 certificate.

YY3 - Advanced Sailing Yachting
Certificate Program: TUYEP
Prerequisites for participation: Holding a YY2 certificate, possessing an Amateur Seafarer Certificate, and completing basic first aid training.
Training Duration: 6 days (3 x 2 days - 2 x 3 days or 6 days) including accommodation on the boat.
Boat used: 42 ft Sailing Yacht
Course Dates: Weekly throughout the year
Who is it for: This is a high-level training program for those who want to master the use of a sailing yacht, day or night, in challenging weather conditions, and who are willing to take responsibility for the boat, including the entire crew.
What it covers: Navigation in strong currents, navigation in harsh weather conditions and precautions to be taken, night navigation, meteorology and weather forecasting, navigation and pilotage, preparation for long voyages, docking maneuvers under sail and engine, navigation and precautions to be taken in limited visibility, man overboard rescue maneuvers, safety equipment and its use, emergency procedures, crew management and watchkeeping, rules for preventing collisions at sea, mechanical and electronic components of the vessel.
Participants who successfully complete the training should: have a thorough knowledge of all aspects and procedures related to sailing yachts, and be proficient enough to teach these to their crew when necessary.
They must possess sufficient knowledge to assume responsibility for the entire sailing yacht crew and have a good understanding of the precautions to be taken in open sea, night sailing, and challenging weather conditions. Participants who successfully complete the training are entitled to receive a TUYEP YY3 certificate.

Course Dates: Weekly throughout the year
Who is it for: This is for anyone who has completed all amateur recreational sailing courses and wants to take sailing to the next level as a sport and learn the intricacies of competitive sailing.
What it covers: The fundamentals of racing, ISAF rules, winds, boat polar diagram usage, detailed trim adjustments, weight usage, and developing tactics according to weather and geographical conditions.

Prerequisites for participation: Holding a YY4 certificate, possessing an Amateur Seafarer Certificate, and completing basic first aid training.

Who is it for: This course is for individuals who have successfully completed all Tuyep courses, have sufficient mileage and experience, and wish to become sailing instructors.
What it covers: All subjects from YY1 to YY4. Those wishing to become instructors must have successfully completed all YY courses. They are required to have 100% mastery of theoretical subjects such as navigation, currents, and meteorology. Since YY5 is an instructor training course, the focus is not on the subjects they are obligated to teach, but rather on how to teach those subjects.
